About Andrew
Andrew Taylor is a content architect and technical writer based in North Carolina, with over eight years of experience turning complex technical subjects into clear, well-structured documentation. He currently works at Red Hat, where he administers Adobe Experience Manager, a DITA-based content management system, and develops the standards, workflows, and training that support hundreds of technical writers across the organization.
Before moving into content architecture, Andrew spent several years as a senior technical writer at Red Hat, owning documentation for Red Hat OpenShift and mentoring fellow writers on craft and process. He also spent time at Tesla, where he developed service manuals and bulletins for vehicle releases in close coordination with engineers, technicians, and illustrators. That range of experience — from developer documentation, to automotive service content, to enterprise CCMS administration — informs an approach to content architecture that is practical, systems-minded, and grounded in the real needs of writers and readers alike.
In his free time, Andrew enjoys spending time outdoors with friends, playing several different instruments, and spending time with his wife and corgi, Cholula (pictured).
